About Us

The Grassroots Home is a brick and mortar store located on the south side of the square in Osceola, Iowa. We are the proud owners of our beautiful, late 1890's building that we have lovingly restored to her former glory. We have a passion for things of old, preferring home décor with a checkered past vs. buying new.
In addition to our vintage home goods, we’re also partnering with suppliers — mostly from the south (go figure…they are our people!), who have the same mindset as us and very cool products that we are excited to represent. From adorable shirts to authentic gift items, we have a great mix of old and new. So thank you for taking time to learn more about us, and make sure you stop by when you’re in the area. We’re conveniently located off I-35 in southern Iowa. We’d love to see you!
